Our Audit trail is a very important part of your scrap metal disposal route. These days the need to keep up to date records detailing who has collected your scrap, what European Waste Code they have allocated to it, the values received for it, is of paramount importance.
More and more business are being audited by their local Environment Agency Representative and there is nothing more re-assuring than the 2 Recycling Audit trail.
The first part of our audit trail is the Collection Request Form, this a pre-notification document. It records what you have ready to be collected both in terms of weight and containers ready to go. We then provide free of charge a Waste Transfer Note. After receipt at our secure warehouse you will receive all of the Weighbridge Tickets along with our Material Verification Sheet. This is the key document which lists all of the items we have collected, the weight of each item, its value and of course the applicable European Waste Code. Invoices are then raised from this document. Added up altogether our documents provide you or any inspector with proof of what has happened to your scrap.
