Waste Sorting Process

2 Recycling Ltd benefits from being centrally located in Grantham, Lincolnshire, from where we provide our next day collection and bin exchange service across most parts of the UK. From our centralised location our vehicles and account managers are always travelling in and around most areas of the UK, so we are never very far from you.

All of our vehicles are tracked and we even have vehicles that have their own forklifts on the back so that we can load ourselves when we get to your works.

We are continuously investing in our fleet to ensure we have the capability to match our promises, no matter where you are or what skips and containers you have.

Don’t worry if you are a smaller organisation, we have smaller 7.5 tonne vehicles for those hard to reach places.

We use state-of-the-art XRF spectrometers to grade and sort accurately to ensure the highest returns possible for your scrap.

Detailed Sorting Report

We supply industry-leading documentation, including our detailed Sorting Report, which breaks down exactly what material has been collected and shows both grade and weight to ensure accuracy.

Paired with our HD Photographic Weighbridge Ticket, you will be able to see your exact material as it arrives at our facility to reduce any fears of incorrect material being weighed or underpaying for your scrap.

Key Features – Open Skips

All plate seams are fully welded – both inside and out
Skips are fully welded along the top of top channels
A 6mm base gives extended service life
Substantial gussets are used in all four corners
Skip lugs are fitted through channels and side plates (fully welded both inside and outside)
Where doors are installed a secondary mechanism is always fitted to act as a failsafe in the event of door hinge failure
